    Salam

If a guy marries a women and no physical relation is formed between them.

Then the husband divorces the women.

Is the women islamically obliged to return the Maher or she gets to keep it.

She gets to keep it according to Ghamidi Sahab and is not obliged to return.

But I think confirmation on this is needed. It seems Ghamidi Sahab has not considered lack of physical relation exception in the video.

If marriage is consummated she is entitled to have full mehr, if not, then half of it.

If the girl has shifted to the man’s house as his wife and spent time with him in seclusion, no matter actual physical relation is established or not, she is entitled to have full mehr, as apparently it is considered that the marriage is consummated.

However if she did not shifted and man did not touch her, the marriage is not consummated. She is entitled to have half of the mehr appointed.

However, men are encouraged to show generosity.
