    Aoa

One of my friends has contributed one share in a cow qurbani but just for the intention to get fresh meat because we get frozen meat only in the country we live in. He has done his qurbani in India but here he only wanted meat.

Now the meat exceeds in quantity than what he was expecting and he wants to sell but confused if its allowed or if this has been wrong in the first place (contributing in qurbani for meat only)

What would be the allowed here now and his best option?

If it was not a sacrificez there is no objection to selling it. His intention to get meat doesn’t affect the qurbani of others.

Thank you but if it was a sacrifice then why its not allowed to sell? Want to know the reasoning behind it

The act of sacrifice of an animal as a worship ritual make this sublime. Therefore it is not becoming to sell it as a commodity. You may consume it or give it in charity.
