Hadith Restricting Thinking, How One Should Think?
رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا ” تم میں سے کسی کے پاس شیطان آتا ہے اور تمہارے دل میں پہلے تو یہ سوال پیدا کرتا ہے کہ فلاں چیز کس نے پیدا کی ، فلاں چیز کس نے پیدا کی ؟ اور آخر میں بات یہاں تک پہنچاتا ہے کہ خود تمہارے رب کو کس نے پیدا کیا ؟ جب کسی شخص کو ایسا وسوسہ ڈالے تو اسے اللہ سے پناہ مانگنی چاہئے ، شیطانی خیال کو چھوڑ دے ۔“

اس حدیث میں جس طرح ہمیں سوچنے پر ایک لمٹ سیٹ کروا دی گئی ہے کہ بس اس سے آگے نہیں سوچ سکتے تو کیا ہمیں سلام میں ان معاملات میں سوچنا سمجھنا نہیں چاہیے مجھے یہ بات تھوڑا کنفیوز کر رہی ہےتھوڑا تفصیلی جواب دے دیں کہ ہمیں کن معاملات میں کس طرح سوچنا چاہیے کن معاملات میں نہیں سوچنا چاہیے

There is no restriction imposed by religion on what or what not a human being may think. This Hadith is requiring Muslims who have already professed faith in Allah consciously to not indulge in doubts which are baseless and/or beyond the realm of human knowledge because more likely than not, such doubts turn into OCD related questions and may take one outside the circle of faith. Therefore, it is a great advice from the Prophet (sws) to categorize our questions carefully and those questions which are baseless doubts or beyond our scope of knowledge should be ignored altogether otherwise there is a chance that they may create a bigger problem for the person.
