    Assalam-o-Alaikum.

Suppose we are to warn another Muslim about a sin e.g lying and suggesting that you could say, lose your job if you continue to be dishonest.

Question: Is this acceptable OR should we always focus on God here and Muslim’s tazkiya as the concern?

(Because even if they reform, they may not reform while remembering God in that case if we focus on worldly harms associated. But if we do not include worldly harm in the warning, some may not take the matter seriously either and not reform at all in that case.)

    Thank you.

There are different aspects if an act. All these aspects are highlighted according to the situation. The problem of sincerity with God is a personal matter. One can only be reminded of it.
