I see a lot of videos these days of Palestinians saying, ‘I will not forgive anyone who scrolls past this video without sharing’. The idea is that they can hold me accountable for seeing their pain and not doing anything sufficient regarding it. Is inaction something that I will be held accountable for? Do oppressed people have the right to not forgive people who didn’t help them?

    There is no such thing.

One should help others according to one’s capacity. That is it. The Palestinian leadership is unfortunately not realising the ground realties and adding more suffering to the miseries of their people.
