As we all know the legend of hazrat Ibrahim that he agreed to sacrifice his own son because it was Allah’s decree. The question of morals rise here. The whole concept seems ironical and as Islam is contradicting itself.Islam says that the one who kills a single person kills whole humanity and there again the torment in akhirat for his deed. Islam here presents a way that the only reason for being moral is god’s consent or to save yourslef from torment because hazrat ibrahim was satisfied to sacrifice his own son, which is immoral, and did this just for god’s consent. Is Gid’s decree placed above morality in Islam? If so then tye whole moral code of islam give the idea of morality due to fear of god or hell. This all ends with believe in afterlife which we have no practical proof off

The moral code is defined for human beings, not for God. God gives death to people and other living beings in so many ways. He has allowed to sacrifice animals. He asked Muslims to do jihad and give their life in His way.

So if has asked for the sacrifice of Ishmael, He has the authority to do do. However, it was not demand to sacrifice Ishmael. It was sign to indicate that Ishmael should be dedicated to the service of Kaabah. Hazrat Ibrahim did not interpret the dream and tried to fulfill it as it is. For details see the explanatory notes in Albayan by Ghamidi saheb.
