It’s written in the history (Book of Genesis) according to Jewish scribes that believed it and hence included in the Bible.
It is not mentioned in any revelation though including Torah, Injeel, Zaboor or Qur’an. Prophet (PBUH) has known to compare woman to a rib in the sense that one should not be harsh or forceful on them or they will break like a rib. So that may be what was actually said by previous prophets too and ancient Israelite took it literally.
