Javed Ahmed Ghamidi sahib has said that house is an institution and that institution must have a single head. On the basis of this logic ,men have been given the right to marry more than one women ( in case of special conditions not normally) , because men have been given financial responsibilty. In some other videos , he has explicitly said that during nikkah, conditions can be made that women can take the financial responsibilty of the house , so naturally she became the head of the institution. So in this case will she be allowed to marry more than one man? Or the natural fitrat goes against this (polyandry) which is evident through various studies can be the reason for this condition of one women marrying more than one man is still not applicable ( though exceptions can be there but rule is not made according to exceptions and though economical responsibility by women is also not widespread but in present socities it is still much more prevalent ) . Since deen is on fitrat and polyandry is against fitrat , so even after fulfilling the economic perspective still polyandry cannot be applied. And also chance of polyandry causing instability in marriage is much more due to man’s nature of exclusivity of women and Allah want to protect the institution of house , this case against polyandry can be made.

Please clarify is this logic coherent or polyandry in this condition does than becomes halal?

Being the head of the family does not include having more than one spouse. A man with a single wife is the head of his family.

To have more than one spouse is a separate case. A woman by nature cannot cater to more than one husband and their houses. It is not feasible that she carries a man’s child in her womb, gives birth to the child rears him or her, and then goes to another house and does the same there.
