Al-Anbiya – 21:30

أَوَلَمۡ يَرَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓاْ أَنَّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ كَانَتَا رَتۡقًا فَفَتَقۡنَٰهُمَاۖ وَجَعَلۡنَا مِنَ ٱلۡمَآءِ كُلَّ شَىۡءٍ حَىٍّۖ أَفَلَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ
Is this ayah talking about just living things on earth? What about jinns that are said to be created from fire?

In an explanation, it has been written that the life is dependent on water.
