Assallam u alaikum
my question is that my cousin recently asked me to lend me his car for a future date for a day. and in that day he’ll take his family and relative to his village where they will have a function and eat food that is Niyaz. Will I be sinful if I lend him my car so that he can go take his family to village?

You can make it clear to your cousin that you are providing this car for him to take his family to the village and meet their relatives and that he should not use your car for going to a gathering where food in the name of “ghairullah” will be eaten. If he still does that without your knowledge, then there is no blame on you.

@UmerQureshi brother the house of his village is actually where the gathering will be most probably. and when often i had told him or his siblings about that food for the name of “Ghairullah” is Haram. They sometimes say that “no no it’s for Allah but so that sawab goes to the person” and sometimes some other words they say in which they say that it’s actually for Allah but they then also somewhat mention the other person when saying “Niyaz”, now I’m not sure about what the context of this thing is that is Niyaz really a food in the name and to get closure of Allah. or is it food in the name of Allah but wanting it’s rewards and goodness from Allah to reach the person.
