In this episode of Meezan, Ghamidi sahab reads the first line of the first principle of Sunnah as “…..wohi cheez Deen qarar paye gi jo apni noiyat k lehaz se Deen ho ya Prophet SAW ne us ko Deen qarar diya ho”. In the fourth edition of English version of Meezan, it is translated as “Only that thing can be a Sunnah which can be classified as religion by its nature and status. With the rigor he explains the difference between “noiyat mein Deen hona” and “Prophet SAW ne Deen qarar diya ho”, it is evident that he chose the wording with extreme deliberation. But in the latest Urdu version of Meezan, he writes “jo apni noiyat k lehaz se Deen ho” and the other part is not there.
Why did he remove those words? Any change in his opinions or just for wording purposes?
