Commands Of Islam & Their Rationality According To Human Nature & Intellect

Islam is a whole and coherent system. It needs intellectual exercise to appreciate it, which requires deliberation. In this process, one evolves from a lesser understanding to a better one. At times, one does not understand the nature and relation of a problem, and then it unfolds how it is related to its roots in the system.

At times, I find it difficult to fully grasp certain religious teachings. They feel overwhelming, almost as if the responsibilities placed on us by God go beyond what is natural or intuitive to the human mind. My reason struggles to make sense of them, and it makes me wonder, if these commandments were truly meant for beings like us, shouldn’t they resonate more naturally with our understanding?

So here is my sincere question:

Are all religious commands — from start to finish — ultimately logical and accessible to human reason? Or are there some that must be accepted purely on the basis of divine authority, simply because ‘God has said so’? In other words, does God always command what is rational, or does He sometimes expect obedience without understanding?

And along with that — is it necessary (or even appropriate) to question or seek the reasoning behind every divine command? Are we expected to look for the wisdom (ḥikmah) behind each ruling, or is faith meant to be about trust and submission, even without full understanding?

Every command is with a reason and is comprehensible. However the commands like worship rituals, comes from God we can’t shape them in this way.
