We are told about us and Jinns and not about other species that we are sent here for a test, and we are told about other species, so, we cannot decide that they are irrelevant, as those species cannot decide we are irrelevant here. See the verse: 6: 38

وَمَا مِن دَابَّةٍ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا طَائِرٍ يَطِيرُ بِجَنَاحَيْهِ إِلَّا أُمَمٌ أَمْثَالُكُم ۚ مَّا فَرَّطْنَا فِي الْكِتَابِ مِن شَيْءٍ ۚ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يُحْشَرُونَ

[Do you not see that] all the beasts that roam on their legs on the earth and all the birds that soar on both their wings in the air are all communities like your own. And [in order to make you understand,] We have left no stone unturned in Our Book. After this, [what only remains is that one day] they will be gathered before their Lord.
