Consider a person leaving his class and teacher tells him to go straight to home but the student stopped by his friends house.

Sin means to usurp someone’s right or harm someone. The cited example is a matter of advice. God needs not to be involved here.

I give the full picture
I Boy is given early off from class as it was starting to rain. As he is about to go the teacher tells him to go straight home as the some misshapen can happen in the rain and she could be held responsible but the boy stops by at his friend’s home.
