Does Divorce Happen If The Words Are Said For A Treatment?
Assalam o alaikum
This is a complicated question so I need well informed answers.
If a woman has Dissociative Personality Disorder and her alter impromptly acts promiscuous with other na mehrams and a part of a treatment is that her husband gives her divorce in front of her so her alter realizes the gravity of the situation, would this divorce be valid or nullified because the husband’s intention is not to actually give divorce but to treat her alter?
Might sound absurd but really need an answer.

It is an absurd idea to divorce, instead of threatening to divorce to teach a lesson. The husband needs a treatment too.
However, if the husband did not intend it, his words can be accepted as null.
