Doing Worship For Fear Of Hell And Want Of Paradise
Hello there,
There are some people i guess from tasawwuf who say that real worship is only that which is done with intention for pleasure of Allah and not for fear of Hell or want for Paradise. How can such notion be dealt with?

This has nothing to do with Quran. Quran uses the term Taqwa which means fear of Allah. One of the greatest qualities of the pious people is that they are Muttaqeen, the ones who fear Allah. God has introduced Himself as Rabb of people, Mabood of People and King of People. He is the Master of the Day of judgment. The whole Quran is full of warnings and fear of Allah.
We love Him but not like the way we love our human relations. But we love Him with an air of awesomeness.
