Tirmidhi 2793 – Prohibition To Look At Another Person's Awrah
Assalamu Alaikum, according to Tirmidhi 2793, can I not look at anyone’s outfit since looking at some parts requires looking at their awrah, or if I look at someone generally that also means u can see the area that is their awrah. Does this also apply to realistic video game characters? JazakAllahu Khairan.

This is not correct.
Following is the correct translation of this Hadith:
ابو سعید خدری رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”مرد مرد کی شرمگاہ اور عورت عورت کی شرمگاہ کی طرف نہ دیکھے، اور مرد مرد کے ساتھ ایک کپڑے میں ننگا ہو کر نہ لیٹے اور عورت عورت کے ساتھ ایک کپڑے میں نہ لیٹے“
Abu Saeed Al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “A man should not look at the private parts of another man, nor a woman at the private parts of another woman. A man should not lie naked with a man in the same garment, and a woman should not lie naked with a woman in the same garment.”
