As salaamu alekum,
Kindly explain th3 context of hadees where prophet Muhammad saw said that he feels like burning down the house of people who doesn’t come to masjid for salah. Was he trying to say people should come to masjid for salah. JazakAllah

It was during the time when Hujjah has been completed by the prophet and God’s final decree of punishment for the disbelievers was about to come.
There were hypocrites among the Muslims. A true Muslim was judged by his commitment to regular prayer. So the prophet warned the Muslims to participate in the prayers without fail, and those who do not come were the hypocrites who were going to face the punishment of God.
This is the perspective of the strong expression of the prophet on participation in the congregational prayers at that time.
