    Medium Of God Speaking To Biblical Prophets

    Assalamualaikum

    In Bible we get words sometimes that God spoke to some Prophet SAW e.g

    And God spake unto Israel in the visions of the night, and said, Jacob, Jacob. And he said, Here am I.

    Genesis 46:2 KJV

    So should we understand it as He spoke through some angel or directly?

    It seems that it was through angels. It is only Moses, as far as we know from God, whom God talked to, the rest is through angels or revelation directly came into a propeht’s heart or in their dreams. In the Bible, the coming of angels too is referred as coming of Lord as we read the story of the angels who visited Abraham before they launch a scourge on the people Lot.
