Hadith About Hijab Inside Mosque
Assalamualaikum
In the last video of the parda series (response to 23 questions), Hassan Ilyas Sahab mentions a hadith from Maududi Sahab’s Tafheem ul Quran( I think) , which states that after the ayah of Surah An-Nur was revealed, the next morning all women in the mosque(the Prophet’s mosque, I believe) were covering their heads. Is this hadith authentic?

Maulana Modudi has used reference from ibn-e-Kathir (lbn Kathir, Vol. III, p. 284, Abu Daud).
