Aoa , I like to know about what extent halala is haram or halal like please don’t judge I read somewhere that if the couple have children and it is very tough for them to manage then it is permissible but my concern is different I read and did research halala is only a case if it is not intentional , but I am really stuck in my life we parted away due to some misunderstandings and now I am unable to move on in my life , I used to ask sabr but it seems like I couldn’t survive I am having anxiety , weight loss , severe hair loss , I don’t know what to do, I might sound childish or rubbish but I loved him . Our talaq happened in 3 sittings not in a single sitting. Is there any way I can get back to him .

The valid triple divorce took place on three different occasions, not in just three different sittings. It means that once Talaq was pronounced, then there was reconciliation within the period of Iddat. Then, on another occasion, the husband pronounced Talaq and reconciled with his wife within iddat. These are two Talaq. Then, for the third time, he pronounced Talaq on another occasion. This is the final Talaq after which he cannot reconcile.

Pronouncing Talaq within an Iddat for more than one is considered one Talaq, if the husband intends to divorce only once.

However, if Talaq happened on three different occasions, then there is no chance of reconciliation, unless you marry someone else and he, on his own will, divorces you. Halala, on the other hand, is preplanned for divorce, which is against the very spirit of Shariah.

You may write to us the details of the procedure of the Talaq you received to know the ruling of Shariah. You can also get an official Fatwa, using our Fatwa service.
