Assalamu Alaikum. Sir Ghamidi explained that hijab is not an obligation according to the Quran but i came across a hadith (Tirmidhi 539) regarding the jilbab which is defined as a full body cover on the internet. What is the explanation behind this? JazakAllahu Khairan.

The hadith mentioned different different kinds of women. One of them are the ones who are secluded. Other women are women too and they were not described as veiled.
The secluded women mostly belonged to elite class who didn’t come out of their homes unnecessarily.
