Iftar With Dates
Assalam alaykum
Doing iftar with dates, is it sunnah? or eating any food available or drinking water is the sunnah? I mean breaking fast by eating dates, does it has any blessing? or is it like bcoz dates were a common food in madinah, hence prophet used dates?
May Allaah protect ghamidi sahab. I am so much thankful to Allaah and then you for removing many doubts on Islam.
