Is It Backbiting If You Don’T Say A Person’S Name Or Any Information About Them?
Salam,
I have been wondering while I was telling a story to my friend about someone who they don’t know and neither I named but just telling a story of their acts which may shed the person in a bad light but I was careful not to mention any information about the person. Will this count as backbiting?
Looking forward to guidance on the matter.

This is not backbiting. The purpose and result of the baclbiting is to defame or disgrace someone in their absence.
