Melody In The Azan And Quranic Recitation
Is it true that during the time of Prophet Muhammad PBUH the Azaan and Quran recitation was not done in a melodious manner in which it is done today? If not, when did it start and wouldn’t this be considered Bid’ah?

It is not true.
As for Quran, there are many narrations found in Hadith corpus where Prophet Muhammad (SwS) complimented Sahaba for having a melodious voice while reciting Quran:
