    Music And Songs Lyrics

    Peace,

    I know that Ghamidi sb point of view is that music which has bad lyrics is haram.But,if a song has bad and good lyrics can we listen to it skipping the bad part.The bad part may be indecent or refer to Shirk.Can we skip it and listen to good part?

    As a student of Deen I recommend to listen only good lyrics songs and within limits.

    Mixture of good and bad need to be avoided. This is the teaching of our Deen.

    There is difference between vulgar/indecent and romantic. Not all romantic lyrics are bad.

    JazakAllah, some songs just have some lines that one might feel are crossing limits.InShaAllah I will avoid the ones which may harm tazkiya of soul .Thanks brothers
