Salam,
God knows both the visible and the invisible. He also knows the secrets of our hearts. We pray from our hearts that we may follow the straight paths. So, after the prayer, is it necessary to raise the hands and ask for du’a or simply wish in the heart that Allah will get us out of such difficulty. Or it must be expressed orally?

Dua is not to inform God, but the implore Him, for which it is natural that man utters and raises his hands and shows other gestures. God is the King of mankind, one has to be humble in front of Him to ask for what one needs.

میں جو آپ کی بات سے سمجھا ہوں کہ یہ فطری تقاضا ہے خدا سے مانگنا یا اس سے ہاتھ اُٹھا کر تقاضا کرنا۔ لیکن کیا یہ عمل نا کرنے سے اور دل میں دعا مانگنے سے قبول نہیں ہوتی؟
