    Quran 10:58..

In the above verse Allah calls Quran “rehmat” and tells muslim to rejoice and celebrate this rehmat…

In the context of this verse, my friend (a molvi) told me that since Allah calls Quran rehmat and allows muslims to celebrate it…thus there is a jawaz(ishara tu nas) an indication that anything that is rehmat can be celebrated…and prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) is rehmatulil Aalmeen…his commence can be celebrated in view of this verse.

How does farahi school of thought views this ” istadlaal ….and what is there rulings on “jawaz” or ishara tu nas…

This kind of argumentation is unacademic. If one wants to celebrate, one can; there is no need to extract it from the Quran in this way.

This verse tells the Muslims to feel good that they were receiving the message of God, which is more precious than the wealth that the chiefs of kuffar accumulate, and feel proud of it.
