Protection Of Graves Against Bad Weather
Assalamoalaikum brothers,
In Pakistan, severe weather destroys the graves if they are not protected against the water ingress therefore now a days we strengthen graves by placing slabs inside, then sand on top and then making strong border lines with marble to ensure structural integrity.
Should there be any concern about this measure or intention?

Islam has no concern with the preservation of graves.

All the stance of various Ulema in Pak o hind about concreting graves (strengthening graves) and preference of leaving graves as soft sand. Some say that it will help the deceased on the day of judgement etc.
