Brother most of this is coming culturally which is also called ‘Urf’. Now the thing is that surely you wont find these things in quran and sunnah but these things are considered culturally good and you can follow them or ignore them with your own will. Islam doesn’t completely eradicate a culture unless it has some serious type of sin like shirk or irregular mixing of genders which can lead to adultery or if the culture leads to any other kind of sin and we as muslims should always take care of that.
Seedha bethna kamar terhi na karna meri opinion mein bura nahi ha obviously apka posture acha rehta ap khud achay lagtay ho. Aur parents ki is tarha ki baaton ko mananay mein meri nazar mein koi burai nahi kyunka unka haq ha apko samjhana aur aeik aeisa insan bnana jo deeni morally aur socially lehaz sa behtreen ho.
