If islam gradually abolishes the slavery trend already prevalent in the society, then why did prophet Muhammad accept Hazrat Maria as a concubine…..why didn’t he marry her if he liked her….it is said she was not like other wives(um hatul mumeneen) and was allowed to remarry after the death of prophet Muhammad.
