In South Asian marriage ceremonies like in Pakistan and India women and men dress flamboyantly and wear adornments. Does a chaste woman incur a sin if she dresses up like all others( because it is culturally accepted to dress like that on those special days) even though she covers her awrah? Can she wear makeup and jewellery only on that day without compromising her commitment to modesty and Allah.

The manners of interaction of men and women are given in Sura Noor verse 30 and 31. These tells that both genders should lower their gazes and guard their private parts. They should well covered them. and if women have done adornments, they should cover except for what stays uncover usually. And that definitely includes face (with adornment).
