A trend is going on that a person may ask a question to another person and say if you are able to answer it, I’ll buy anything you like as a reward but if you won’t I won’t or saying make me laugh and I’ll give you a gift if you are able to do so…. Does this fall under bet? Or gambling?

But In the above case one is not sure about the skill of the other person it can be considered a chance game? Because one person’s money will be given to other but the other person is only in benefit if wins otherwise no loss to them…. Whereas when a sports match occurs both the teams don’t loose any money. One wins and get the trophy or reward while other doesn’t loose any money

In Gambling, one party is always winning the other person’s money based on a game of chance. Here, one person rewards the other person for showing skills in general knowledge or in telling jokes. The other person is not involved in this and does not lose his money. Therefore, this is not gambling.

Yes, there is nothing objectionable here.
