    What Is Sunnah ?

    Assalamualaikum,

    Sir, please define what is Sunnah. Have we to find it in the books of Hadees or in the Quran in true sense..?

    Moreover, is sunnah prior to the Quran and completely sourced by sunnat e Ibrahim, finally endorsed and purified by the last messenger…?

    Yes, since sunnah consists of practice of the Prophets of God, therefore it is prior to the Quran in that perspective. It was purified by the last prophet, Prophet Muhammad SAW, and established as an independent source of religion in addition to the Quran.
