I work as a freelancer and the company that pays me releases the payments after two weeks. They have introduced a new feature where they charge a minimal amount and release the payments immediately. Will this be considered as Sood?

Riba is consideration demanded in a loan transaction. Riba/Interest doesn’t apply to your situation. These are mere service charges for early release of payments which were otherwise contractually ought to be released in two weeks time.
