Withholding Life Support System Of Terminally Ill Patients
Ovarian cancer was diagnosed in a patient 6 years ago. Two chemotherapies stopped the progress of disease for some time. Presently her kidneys and lungs have failed. And she is on a ventilator. Continuing to keep her on ventilator will not cure her multiple diseases. She is not likely to survive withdrawal of life support system.
Is it permissable under such conditions to withdraw life support.

If someone doesn’t want treatment, it’s their choice. No one can force them

And we MUST treat them as a doctor. Like how far do we go because it’s life and death? We can’t just 24/7 treat patients
