Witr Salah
Kindly answer the following:-
1. How many raka’ah were farz on the Prophet (PBUH) in Tahajjud?
2. In the case that it was left upto Him to determine the number of rakaah, did he ever read them and then prayer three rakha as witr or always joined the two and read together? People tend to, in taraweeh especially, disjoint the two (for eg. 8 rakaah read as nafl in taraweeh but they pray 3 as a seperate prayer deeming it to have special and distinct significance).
Why don’t they read it together as the Prophet did?
