    Women And Girls Wear Immodest Clothes

    I know that Islam teaches about wearing modest clothing in public and it is all explained in surah nur.

    But if men and women wear immodest clothes in public, would that be haram (sin)?

    if Islam says some thing is wrong then its definitely a sin.
    by immodest i assume you mean revealing dresses which provoke sexual desires. Yes then it is a sin

      I mean immodest clothing such as men wearing only shorts on the beach, and women wearing bikinis on the beach.
      Is it haram to wear them in these places?
