Zakat For Interim Period
I normally calculate my networth on 31 Dec every year to calculate Zakat due over the next year and gradually settle it monthly in advance. I intend to invest all my savings in September 2025 بإذن اللة meaning I would be left with nothing by 31 Dec 2025.
Question: Should I calculate and pay my zakat on my entire networth that would complete 1 year on Sep 2025 before making the investment?

Zakat applies to both savings and investments, so continue calculating it as usual on the due date.

Jazak Allah Khair. Just toadd the invesent be likely in an apartment building which would be partially rent and partially swlf occupied. How would Zakat apply in such case.
