Reference Books For Studying History
Please can we list the reference books (name of the book, name of author, from where we can download or buy them) other than hadith that help us understand Islam? Reference means very old books that narrate certain facts related to the Quran and Hadith.

I think I am unable to identify what I am looking for, let me rephrase it.
1. Authentic Islamic history, by which we can find the Muslim Ummah’s happenings, starting from Hazrat Adam onwards, covering various incidents/wars in Islamic history. I am sure you can name a Few Books that I can either find on the above-referred website or you may share on a new website.
2. Authentic book that describes Hazrat Muhammad’s PBU life, his doing, etc. I am sure you can name a Few Books that I can either find on the above-referred website or you may share on a new website
