Abortion During Pregnancy
Assalamoalaikum,
Due to latest technological advancements, doctors can tell whether a child will be born with a significant disease which may make life really painful for the child and child may live for short span of life (5 or 10 yrs).
In these scenarios, can parents decide to go about early abortion and if it is allowed in Islam what is the age of pregnancy that this abortion is allowed.
To improve knowledge as student in religion, can you please guide me how have we come to a conclusion? Is there any guidance from Quran or Sunah?
