Darood Sharif In Namaz
AsSalaam-Alaikum, I want to ask what does “وَعَلَى ال مُحَمَّدٍ” refer to in darood Sharif, is it referring to Prophet Mohammad PBUH and his family members (all) or referring to Mohammad PBUH and his followers or people?

This is for the holy prophet’s family. At such occasion of sending blessings, family members are included. For example when you wish someone on Eid, you include the family members too.

So it means we are sending blessing to Our beloved Prophet PBUH and his family. so also referring to the syed zaday (mostly found in India and Pakistan).
