Investing In Savings/Debt Securities
I am a university going student and have a fair amount of savings which I want to invest but due to my time constraint (classes in working time) I cannot focus on investing in equities and associated mutual funds which have high risk profile. This limits my investment option to keeping that money in safe fixed income deposits but the problem I face is religious. Debt security funds lend the money mostly to government, invest in bonds and sukuks which I have doubt of being problematic. If any financial expert can advise that whether the low risk debt securities come under definition of interest(with reason)? If yes then what can be other good options to opt for
