Variance In Literal Arabic Translations
In so many verses of the quran that the earth is either “وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا طَحَاهَا” (Ash-Shams (91:6)) or “وَإِلَى الْأَرْضِ كَيْفَ سُطِحَتْ” Surah Al-Ghashiyah (88:20) and in other verses as well (cannot refernece them all). The literal translation of the words سُطِحَتْ and طَحَاهَا is “spread out”. What does Allah mean by “spread out”?
Why do سُطِحَتْ and طَحَاهَا translate to the same english word i.e., spread out.
