Scientific ‘miracles’ Of Quran
Posted by A Hasan on September 6, 2020 at 4:30 pmShould places where we see the Quran seems to conform with modern science be used as a proof for its divinity? Eg geology embryology etc

Member September 6, 2020 at 5:03 pmAllah knows what is in mother’s womb and the Qur’an mentions this. This is way before Science came into the picture and the knowledge it has given us today.

However, this doesn’t mean we should ignore science altogether, in fact, any such scientific discovery actually complements our emaan; but it should be limited to that sphere only. There have had been many problems faced by earlier scholars who adopted this approach and this also goes against the primary argument of Quran itself. For further insight, please refer to the following thread:
For comments of Ghamidi Sahab whether study of science complements our emaan or not, please refer to the video below from 1:31:53 to 1:34:59

Contributor September 7, 2020 at 7:37 amWhat are the things we learn when we analyse this world about God? When we are told to look at his ayaat and as Ghamidi sahab says ‘mehboob ko asaar se dhundhna’ what aspects of mehboob do we find?
Do we find his power, truthfulness, mercy etc?
Could you provide an example like when we see the sky we contemplate on the might and power of God.
What can we see to contemplate on his mercy and justice?

Moderator September 7, 2020 at 7:54 amIf one deliberates on one’s surroundings and on the world within him, everything bears testimony that God is not merely the first cause and an eternal entity; He is in fact a being who has intention and knowledge and has all noble attributes.
