Quran 2:183 Prescription Of Fasting
Nouman Ali Khan said in one of his Arabic classes (it is a paid class so I shouldn’t share it here) that ayaamun ma3doodatin means limited days with the implication of less than 10 days. He went on to say that Ramadan is 30 days, so this was the prescription of fasting which was before, which was only the middle three days of the months.
Does this mean that it is prescribed to fast in the middle of the days?
If not, then what about the use of ayaamun ma3doodatin?
