Second Coming Of Jesus In Fiqh Al-Akbar
We find that the Fiqh al-Akbar by Imam Abu Hanifa highlights the belief in the return of Jesus, see here https://ia800207.us.archive.org/32/items/Al-fiqhAl-akbareng.-AbuHanifah.pdf/Al-fiqhAl-akbar.pdf. Obviously Imam Abu Hanifa predates Imam Malik. How can we say with certainty that this belief was not part of early Islamic creed?

Ghamidi sahab has argued against the idea of Second Coming mainly on the basis of the Quran. He has also analyzed sound hadith narrations in this regard.
It is not correct that Imam Abu Hanifah predates Imam Malik. With about 10 year difference, both of these personalities lived in the same time. Also Fiqh Al-Akbar has been disputed by certain scholars to be falsely attributed to Imam Abu Hanifah. While I haven’t researched this issue in detail, I thought I should mention it here.
