The whole discussion which Ghamidi sahab did in this serie, it sounds like that Quran is difficult to understand for a common person. Like to know the whole background, it’s genre, understanding the way the literature talks like oaths etc?

But it’s background, sense of the way it talks etc. Like to understand, these are necessary things which we don’t get in the Quran itself?

As Ghamidi sb mentioned Quran is very clear in terms of its message ie verses related to muhkimaat is very clear. you dont need to even think twice to understand those things

For example in Surah Baqarah while completing His proof on bani israel Allah repeated the history of need. But in many places for example Surah Teen, now a common person ignorant of that history, how would he come to know that, that little passage has an ocean of history inside it?

Commenting on SUrah BAqarah will be difficult but for now lets take example of surah teen. The translation by Ghamidi sb is as follows.
تین اور زیتون کے پہاڑ [1] گواہی دیتے ہیں
اور طور [2] سینین
اور تمھارا یہ شہر [3] امین
کہ انسان کو ہم نے (اِن مقامات پر) پیدا کیا تو اُس وقت وہ بہترین ساخت پر تھا۔
پھر ہم نے اُسے پستی میں ڈال دیا، جب کہ وہ خود پستیوں میں گرنے والا [4] ہوا۔
رہے وہ جو ایمان پر قائم رہے اور اُنھوں نے نیک عمل کیے تو اُن کے لیے ایسا اجر ہے جو کبھی ختم نہ [5] ہو گا۔
Even if u dont know teen, zetoon or city, we get the idea that only people who are doing good deeds will be succesful in after life. Despite human being in good form we befell ourselves below humanity due to our deeds.
Similarly when you just read translation of surah baqrah or any other surah, muhkimat and imaniyat are very clear you dont even need to go into deep detail of nazm, historical context etc
