Forgetting Quran After Memorization
Hello there!
My question is that is forgetting Quran after Memorization a great sin?
I saw some websites that the Hadith through which people take evidence for this is Weak as classified by Albani, Bukhari and Tirmidhi.
So the question arises that why scholars like Al-Nawawi and Al-Suyuti use such hadith for evidence when they knew it was weak?

Hadith grading is a very subjective matter at the core of it and such differences of opinions are very common in our academic tradition (See: Discussion 70494 • Reply 70534). Secondly, different scholars have different inclinations towards acceptance of Weak Hadith. To some, numerous weak ahadith on a particular subject make it a strong hadith while others do not agree with this approach. Lastly, Suyuti and Nawaii in addition to being interested in Hadith, were also scholars of Fiqh and Usool due to which sometimes some weak Ahadith are accepted if they are in accordance with over all framework of religion according to those scholars.
