Mechanical Salah
I was struggling in praying regularly; I’d pray one salah and then forget the rest but then I came across Ghamidi Sb’s video in which he said Salah is more like attendence, so since then I have prayed it like attendance and Alhamdulillah I pray all 5 now regularly.
But I feel like I pray for the sake of praying now, there is not that feeling of standing before your lord, trying to connect to him. And then I feel my Salah is just pretentious and mechanical, what to do, kindly guide.

Prayers are to be offered with a sense of duty, essentially. The feelings and connection with God depend upon many factors, they are secondary to prayer, however desirable. The sense of duty is the strongest connection.
